Great Lent

This Sunday is the Sunday of Orthodoxy, in which we celebrate the restoration of icons and the triumph of the orthodox faith. So be sure that all the kids (and, yes, adults, too) bring an icon for the procession!

Each Sunday of Lent has a special commemoration to help us on our Lenten journey. Additionally, we celebrate the Presanctified Divine Liturgy on Wednesdays at 6 PM, followed by a potluck,  and we pray the Akathist Hymn on Fridays at 6 PM throughout Great Lent. Please, see our complete schedule for the additional services of Lent, and journey with us to Easter on April 16.  A printable calendar is available to help you navigate the many services of Great Lent and Holy Week. If you'd like to learn more about how Orthodox celebrate Lent and Pascha, please visit any of our services!

Please, remember our Lenten donation drive for WRAP, and the ongoing food drive for the Little Free Pantry. Lists of needed items are available in the narthex.
